J S Bawa is having more than 40 years of Experience in Telecommunications and Information Technology. His interests include Project Management, Environment, Power, Construction, Finance and many diverse areas of engineering and technology.

He held important positions both in Government of India and in the Private sector in the areas of telecommunications. His last position was advisor Lucent Technologies in India.

Born in a Middle class family in Punjab and had schooling in a Village in Punjab, he has risen to the present position. He is a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the Allahabad University, the 1st Batch of Motilal Regional Engineering College.

He is grandson of Late Bawa Harkrishan Singh an eminent sikh leader of Punjab. Bawa Harkrishan Singh was a very close associate of Master Tara Singh and well known in sikh community.

J S Bawa was brought up by his grand father in a town Qadian in Punjab and studied in Kalaswala Khalsa High School. He studied 2 years in Sikh National College Qadian.

Personal attributes:

Great Believer in Guru Nanak Dev ji and Supreme Power God and these give him continuous energy and will power to work with Zeal and energy. He is a saint, detached mentally with materialistic things but believes in Karma.
